The course emphasises essential helping skills such as active listening, empathy, and non-judgmental communication, while maintaining a clear focus on work-related factors influencing employee wellbeing. Participants will also develop the ability to provide appropriate workplace social support, aligned with organisational practices and Psychosocial Risk Management (PRisMA) principles.
In addition, the course addresses professional boundaries, ethical considerations, referral practices, and structured follow-up, ensuring that support is delivered appropriately, sustainably, and within workplace roles. By the end of the course, participants will not only know what to say, but also how and when to say it, using a clear and practical framework that strengthens employee wellbeing and fosters supportive, psychologically safe workplace relationships.
