Course Overview
This is a practical, hands-on course designed for fresh graduates who want to stand out in competitive job markets. Rather than focusing on expensive equipment or flashy effects, the course builds three core capabilities: a clear, employer-centred story, confident on-camera presence, and simple production skills that make a video look and sound professional using tools students already have.

Across three units, participants learn to translate their CV into a concise, compelling narrative, practise delivering that message with confidence, and then package it in a polished video format suitable for sharing with recruiters, on professional platforms or as part of a digital portfolio. By the end of the course, each learner will have created at least one complete video resume and developed a repeatable process they can refine as their skills and experiences grow.

By the end of the course, learners will be able to:

• Describe when and why to use a video resume alongside a traditional CV.

• Create a clear, employer-focused script that highlights strengths and evidence of impact.

• Demonstrate confident, professional on-camera delivery using appropriate voice and body language.

• Record and edit a short, polished video résumé using simple, accessible tools and set-ups.
